Grow Better Zinnias with Full Sun
My zinnia flowers grew really tall and thin, and they had really small blooms. What happened?
Zinnia flowers need full sun, and when they don’t have enough light, they will keep growing up and up until they finally reach light. If there is no light up higher, they will send out a bloom as a last-ditch effort. The zinnia flower bloom will be small (zinnias in full sun will have large, ball-like blooms), and the leaves will be small. Next time give your zinnia flower full sun, and if you don’t have that kind of light in your area, try growing a flower that needs lower light.
